Hannibal-LaGrange University will be holding its spring open house and reception for the Master of Science in Education (MSE) program on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Registration will take place in the Burt Administration Building. This event will highlight the MSE program and allow area teachers to speak to MSE professors and HLGU graduates who have earned their master's degree.
Hannibal-LaGrange University's MSE degree is designed to provide a program of professional growth for early childhood, elementary, and secondary teachers. In addition, teachers who have completed Reading Recovery training or earned their National Board Certification and who choose to earn an MSE degree from HLGU will be given 6-9 hours of course work credit, depending on the program emphasis chosen.
The Master of Science in Education degree program is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission. The commission is one of six regional accreditation bodies in the United States and offers the highest form of accreditation available to a college or university.
