Now offering BS and BAS degrees in convenient time frames for working adults. Broaden your career options with a bachelor's degree. Get the management, problem-solving, and communication skills you need.
Let's face it. For management positions or other leadership levels, you need a bachelor's degree. Now, more than ever, your career may depend on it. Hannibal-LaGrange College makes it possible for adults to complete a bachelor's degree without quitting your job!
The ADVANCE Program classes meet one night per week, one class at a time over a five week period. You'll stay with the same group of adult learners throughout the remainder of your degree program.
With an associate's degree (AS, AA, or AAS) or its equivalent, from an accredited institution, you may be able to complete a bachelor's degree in 18 months.
Not sure if you qualify for a degree completion program? Our qualified staff is available for consultation at the college office or at your job site with no obligation.
If you're lacking some hours to meet the entry requirements, Weekend College classes can help you finish general education hours. You also may qualify for credit for prior life experience. An ADVANCE Program class can show you how to put together a portfolio detailing your training and educational development completed outside the classroom.
Depending on the type and number of hours you've already completed at an accredited institution, you can get a Bachelor of Science degree or a Bachelor of Applied Science degree. Both degree programs are available in one of three majors: Organizational Management (for business or management careers), Administration of Justice (for law enforcement or corrections), or Child Development.
The BAS program gives employees with technical training or an AAS degree from post-secondary accredited institutions, new career options. Hannibal-LaGrange College is the only college in the Tri-State area offering a BAS degree.
Now, technically-educated adults can develop skills in leadership, communication, problem-solving, and other expertise necessary in management positions. No longer will the lack of a college education hold you back in job promotions.
For those with an AS or AA degree, or equivalent general education hours, a Bachelor of Science degree will give you the management skills needed for today's workforce. At the same time, it will provide a foundation for those wishing eventually to pursue a master's degree.
The Innovative Programs Office is located in the Hut and MaryLou Green Center on the HLG Campus. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or by appointment.
