Brief Bio

Mary Burkett, assistant professor of business, has been a member of the faculty at HLG since 1985. Prior to coming to HLG, she taught in Madison County public schools in North Carolina, at Columbia College in Columbia, SC, and at Mississippi State University. She also brings nine years of additional work experience in the business world.

While employed at HLG, Burkett has served on numerous committees, and currently serves on the Student Learning Improvement Committee.
