Brief Bio

Kori Braden began teaching at HLGU in 2009, bringing her nursing experience in Pediatrics, Medical-Surgical, and Women’s Care departments. When time allows, she continues to work at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Braden's favorite aspects of teaching are what she calls the "I did it moments" when students successfully perform a skill in the clinical setting that they previously learned in the classroom. "They come back with a smile on their face and the excitement that they were able to do the skills they learned," she said.

Braden also enjoys working in the Christian community of HLGU where the faculty all work closely together, and where the faculty know all the students by name and work with them individually.
