Brief Bio

"I am very excited to be a part of Hannibal LaGrange University," said Mrs. Leslie Loyd. "It is such a blessing to be able to share my faith, knowledge, and passion for learning with the students of HLGU."

Mrs. Leslie Loyd joined the English Department at Hannibal-LaGrange University in 2013. Prior to her move to the area, Mrs. Loyd taught at a variety of Missouri colleges and universities, including Southeast Missouri State University, Mineral Area College, Central Methodist University, and the University of Missouri--St. Louis. She and her husband, David, have two daughters. Their eldest daughter, Rebekah is majoring in History and the Classics at William Jewell College, in Liberty, Missouri. Rachel, who will graduate from high school this coming spring, plans to major in English at HLGU next fall.
