Transcripts

Transcripts can be issued only by written requests, requiring a student signature for release.

Submit a written request including the following:

  • Full name (maiden if applicable)
  • Social Security Number
  • Your current mailing address and telephone number
  • Complete address of where transcript is to be sent
  • Dates of attendance at Hannibal-LaGrange College, if not a current student
  • Signature authorizing release of transcript

Print out the Transcript Request form, fill out, sign, and send by mail or fax to HLG. NOTE: Transcripts will take 1-7 business days.

No transcript, official or unofficial, will be provided until all accounts (including, but not limited to, tuition, fees, parking and library fines, and returned checks) have been satisfactorily settled.

One official transcript is issued without charge. (It does not include expedited transcript)

All other subsequent official transcripts are $5.00 each, payable in advance.

Expedited Transcripts are $10 each, payable in advance.

An unofficial transcript fee is $.25 a page not to exceed $0.50. If an unofficial transcript is mailed, the fee is $1.00. The fee for faxing a transcript is a $1.00 per page including the cover sheet (it does not include expedited transcripts).

Access to Student Records

Hannibal-LaGrange College adheres to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The privacy and confidentiality of all student records shall be preserved. Official student academic records, supporting documents, and other student files shall be maintained only by members of the college staff hired for that purpose.

Separate files are maintained for the following educational records: admissions and academic records, supporting documents, and general education records and financial records in the Office of Registrar and the Office of Business Affairs; and financial aid records in the Financial Aid Office.

A student's name, address, telephone number, date and place of birth, academic major, dates of attendance, participation in officially recognized activities and sports, weight and height of members of athletic teams, degrees and awards received, and most recent previous institution attended may be made public by the college unless a student requests, in writing to the Registrar at the beginning of each semester, that such information be released only upon his or her consent.
