Knowledge for Service
At Hannibal-LaGrange College, "Knowledge for Service" is more than just a motto. We are dedicated to equipping our students academically, spiritually, socially, and mentally. Students from all academic areas are encouraged to put their faith to action.
Financial Aid
This is an exciting time, both in your life, and in that of your child. At HLG, we understand what a big decision choosing a college is, and how finances are a major factor in that decision. Our financial aid office works closely with prospective students and their parents to explore all avenues of financial assistance. Nearly 90% of our student body receives some type of financial aid, and the average financial aid package is over $9,000 for qualifying students. Please click on the links before to learn more about our financial aid opportunities. For further questions, call 1-800-HLG-1119, ext. 279.

Academic Services
Hannibal-LaGrange currently offers more than 30 majors, including Pre-engineering and Respiratory Care. The small class sizes at HLG create more interaction between students, classmates, and teachers. Our academic departments also promote hands-on involvement in potential career fields, including internships or practicums. For students with a high level of academic ability, HLG offers an Honors program, which entitles students to a semester of study in England. We also have a Career Services Office that assists students in job placement, either while at college or at graduation.

Campus Life
We strive to make the residence halls at HLG a home away from home for our students. Each dorm or apartment complex has a dorm director and student resident assistants who help make the transition to campus life. All housing is located on campus for added security.
We don't expect our students to spend all of their time in their dorm rooms though. Our Student Activities Office offers events each month to keep students socially active. HLG has hosted such Christian artists as Michael W. Smith, Third Day, and Bebo Norman, and we hold annual events including Homecoming, Fall Formal, and Spring Gala. HLG also offers community service, missions activities, and music and theatre ensembles for our students to take part in.

Visiting HLG
We believe that the best way to learn about a college is by visiting it. We offer a variety of Campus Visit Days for prospective students and their parents to come and learn about HLG and what we can offer you. If you can't make it on a Visit Day, just call our Admissions Office at 1-800-HLG-1119 and they will be happy to set up a time to meet with you.
