HLGU to Rename Memorial Hall Honoring Two Former Presidents

On Friday, September 9, 2011, Hannibal-LaGrange University will honor two former presidents, Dr. Larry L. Lewis and Dr. Paul E. Brown, by naming Memorial Hall in their honor.

Memorial Hall is the newest of our women’s dormitories and was built in 1998. Every room in this 94-bed dormitory is a private room and every two rooms are divided by a bathroom.

We are compiling memory books of letters to be presented to these men on the day of the celebration. I invite you who were students during either Dr. Lewis’s or Dr. Brown’s tenure as president to prepare a letter and mail it to us at 2800 Palmyra Road, Hannibal, MO 63401 by Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Should you wish to send an email instead of a letter, please email it to me, Lauren Youse by Wednesday, August 10, 2011, and I’ll print it and include it in the book. Pictures are also welcome.
