+  Alumni Focus

Focus“The master’s program at HLG reinforced what I learned in my undergraduate program. It helped me to see what I was doing well in the classroom and what I could do better. Overall, my students have a much better teacher because of what I learned in my master’s classes at HLG. I benefitted greatly from the discussions with my fellow classmates/teachers as well as the instructors of the master’s classes.”

+ Student Focus
Focus“Transitioning into an adult through the duration of my college experience is not secluded to just my education but it seems that my faith is stretched and challenged to compliment my studies. God has worked in miraculous ways to reveal himself through my studies no matter the course.”

Lindsay Kizer
Class of 2012

+ Faculty Focus

Focus“Everything relates to everything. One can see God in all things and there is a common thread running through all curricular areas. I feel that one might secure a job quicker and easier with a liberal arts college degree...even if it is not in his or her direct field of study."

L.Jane Griffen
Assistant Professor of Music
