Welcome to the Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department of Hannibal-LaGrange College. The department introduces and explores a broad range of disciplines related to the computing field. The undergraduate program, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, is designed to be comprehensive and flexible. The department offers a variety of professional courses with emphasis on theory, application, and practical training. This experience will equip students to conduct research and keep them abreast of the latest developments in the rapidly changing field of computer technology. Through education, we strive to encourage students to use their technological skills and their knowledge for service while becoming the next generation of leaders in their field of interest.
The CIS Department is equipped with an unique hands-on lab designed for individual, peer, and classroom learning.
