JOIN HANDS WITH THOUSANDS IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Hannibal-LaGrange College has experienced many decades of educational success because of God's goodness and support from friends like you. In choosing to support Hannibal-LaGrange College, you have joined hands with thousands who, through 150 years, have helped provide "quality education in a distinctively Christian atmosphere."

We remain today one of the most reasonably priced private colleges in America. Yet, while reasonably priced, we are one of the best in providing a quality education. We are able to achieve this priority because people like you choose to support us financially. Your gifts sends a message to others that you believe in our mission and that you are proud of your relationship with the college.

Thanks so much for investing in the lives of your young people.

CURRENT GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

Hannibal-LaGrange College is in a multi-year campaign to raise funds to address a variety of pressing needs. This effort is expected to provide $30 million over the next three to five years to construct several new buildings, to significantly enhance the endowment, and to provide funding for dormitory renovations. It is the sincere belief of the HLG family that this funding will enable the college to mold a new generation of future leaders who remain dedicated to our historic mission of providing “Knowledge for Service.”

Library

Approximately half of the $7 million needed for a new library has been received in gifts and pledges. This new facility will provide space to hold over 150,000 volumes and offer first-class, multimedia-equipped classrooms for students and the general public. It will also house a language lab to assist international students and help equip our missions students. If the rate of funding continues, groundbreaking for the new library will be held in calendar year 2008.

Allied Health/Science Complex

Because of a pressing need in the community and the State of Missouri for health care workers, the college will move aggressively toward construction of an Allied Health Center. This building will provide facilities for the training of both RNS and LPNs, dental hygienists, dental assistants, respiratory therapists and EMTs. This new Allied Health Center will provide opportunity for students to pursue an enriching career that helps change the world by improving the lives of those who live in it.

The ever-increasing demands for life sciences-related training have led Hannibal-LaGrange College to design a technologically enhanced science building which should meet our educational needs for future generations. The new science building will incorporate the newest advances in information technology, which will enable our students to enhance their understanding of the life sciences by conducting research of increasing complexity.

Bricks, Blocks, & Memories
Stamp your name in history on the HLG walkway by purchasing a brick or block engraved with your name, a loved one’s name, or a graduating class to provide a lasting remembrance.
Casting the Net: Technology Upgrade
Help Hannibal-LaGrange keep pace with today’s rapidly-changing technology by giving toward the College’s computerization needs.
Endowment
Endowments can be described as funds that are held permanently by nonprofit institutions and are invested to provide both income and capital appreciation for the benefit of that institution. Endowment gifts are building blocks for the future. Substantial endowments are the key to providing long-term stability and growth for an institution.
Campus Improvement
Many of the older buildings on the Hannibal-LaGrange campus are in need of upgrades in order to provide comfort, ensure safety, and meet ever-changing technology requirements. The Building for the Future campaign has included $4 million to renovate existing facilities.
Annual Fund
Tuition and fees alone do not pay the cost of educating students at HLG. Your donation could help close the gap to provide a character-building education for a deserving HLG student.

If you have questions about this campaign or would like to discuss giving options, please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement, 2800 Palmyra Road, Hannibal, MO 63401 (573) 629-3120.
