Community Borrowers
- Privileges -
A community borrower card entitles you to check out books from our library, request interlibrary loans (see link for additional charges), and ask for reference assistance. Borrowing privileges do not extend to computer use, nor are HLG computer accounts and logins available to the public. Occasionally, when computers are not in use by students, the library may allow a community borrower to use a computer for educational purposes for brief periods of time. When computer use is allowed, community borrowers are required to present a picture id and their community borrower card, sign in, and abide by the Hannibal-LaGrange Computer User Policy. Unfortunately, community borrowers do not have MOBIUS privileges (online request or visiting check-out).
- Cost -
The cost of a community borrower
card is $17.50 per year. The card is valid for 1 year from
the date purchased. To sign up, come to the library and
fill out a registration card, and we will issue you a library
card. You must present this card each time you check out
an item. |
