Welcome to the HLGU Library!
HLGU’s Roland library is the newest building on campus. Dedicated in April 2012 this exceptional addition to the campus is the heart of the academic life at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Named after Dr. E. Earl Roland, a 1941 graduate and long-time supporter of the University, this 20,000 square foot library is completely handicapped-accessible and contains a multimedia-equipped computer classroom, computer lab, private and group study rooms, audio and video editing stations, children's reading area, added space for expanded print and audiovisual collections, as well as wireless Internet.
In addition to being able to enjoy all the resources the Roland Library contains, the new "Fireside Café" coffee shop will also be open. This addition to the HLGU campus will proudly serve Starbucks coffee along with a variety of fresh baked items. Visitors are welcome to relax in one of the many arm chairs or recliners as they read, study, or check out one of the Kindle e-readers available at the front desk.
