On Tuesday, January 5, Hannibal-LaGrange University President, Dr. Anthony Allen, presented Hannibal Regional Hospital’s 2016 New Year’s Baby a $2000 scholarship to HLGU. Reese Elizabeth Strieker was born on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 3:26 am, weighing 7 lbs 7 oz, and measuring 19 1/2 inches long.

Reese’s parents, Nathan and Amie Strieker, were very grateful for the scholarship. Baby girl Reese was also welcomed by sibling Rowan, who is two years old.

“Presenting the HRH New Year’s Baby with an HLGU scholarship has been a tradition for several years now. Awarding this special scholarship reminds us each year that the future of HLGU is bright. We look forward to seeing Reese on campus in 18 years,” stated Allen.
