ADVANCE Program Spring 2017 Orientations

Hannibal-LaGrange University’s ADVANCE Program has announced spring 2017cohort orientation dates.

In Hannibal, orientations will be held at 6 pm in the Burt Administration Building at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Social work orientation will be on Wednesday, January 26 in room 202, with classes beginning on February 23. Criminal justice and business management orientations will be on Tuesday, January 31 in room 215, with classes starting February 28.

In Poplar Bluff, orientations will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, January 31, on the TRC Poplar Bluff campus. Criminal justice and business management orientations will be in room B104. Classes start February 23. Orientation for social work will be in room B105. Classes start on February 28.

Sikeston orientations will be held at 6 pm in the TRC Center in Sikeston. Orientation for social work will be Monday, January 23, in room 109. Social work classes start February 20. Criminal justice orientation will be Thursday, January 26 in room 109. Criminal justice classes start February 23. Orientation for business management will be held on Tuesday, January 31. Business management classes start on February 28.

The HLGU ADVANCE Program allows working adults to attend class one night a week and one subject at a time over a five-week period. With an associate’s degree or its equivalent, applicants have the opportunity to complete their degree in as little as 18 months. Students stay with the same group of adult learners, their cohort, throughout their degree program.
