
Adjunct Clinical Faculty
Classification: Faculty / Part-time
Description: Assume teaching assignment in the skills lab and/or clinical setting.
Qualifications: Master's Degree, major in Nursing, preferred or Master's Degree, with a major in a nursing specialty or Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and actively engaged in graduate studies to be completed 3-5 years from employment date. Current Missouri RN licensure (and Illinois if necessary). Missouri undisciplined Board of Nursing approval prior to appointment. Three to five years of teaching experience desired. Two to five years of clinical experience essential.
Duties: Assist skills lab demonstrations and clinical supervision of students in Nursing Courses. Teach assigned students in the skills lab and clinical settings. Conduct pre and post-clinical conferences. Evaluate students - prepare anecdotal notes, written evaluations and conduct evaluation sessions with students. Attend nursing faculty meetings as scheduled, and attend August, and May faculty workshops. Assist with skills laboratory return demonstrations as needed.
