English Faculty

Classification: Faculty / Full-Time

Description: This appointment is a nine-month, yearly renewable contract with a teaching load of twenty-seven hours per academic year. Hannibal-LaGrange University does not have a tenure system.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ph.D. required in English composition and literature. The successful candidate will (1) demonstrate skills in undergraduate teaching methods, and (2) have completed extensive graduate work in both English composition and literature. Experience with online courses would be beneficial

Rank and Salary: Initial rank and salary will depend on education qualifications, experience, and prior rank. Benefit package includes health and life insurance, long-term disability, social security, unemployment security, worker's compensation, retirement, and dependent tuition concession plan.
