Brubaker Named Men's Volleyball Coach

Hannibal, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Athletic Department is happy to announce the hiring of Jade Brubaker for the position of head men’s volleyball coach. Coach Brubaker will be making the move to Hannibal from Philadelphia, PA.
Coach Brubaker will serve as the head men’s volleyball coach and assist his wife Julie with women’s volleyball. As the head coach of the men’s volleyball program at Philadelphia Biblical University, Coach Brubaker quickly became the winningest coach in PBU history. In six seasons coached, he accumulated 123 wins and only 69 losses while finishing with five consecutive winning seasons.
In 2008, he helped the Crimson Eagles to its highest win total in school history (24) as well as to its first NECVA Western Division Title. Coach Brubaker and the Crimson Eagles were able to build off of the 2008 success with dominating seasons in 2009-11. In ’09, he led PBU to a 21-12 finish and carried a national ranking throughout the entire season. In ’10, he coached the Crimson Eagles to a 23-11 record and finished the season ranked fourth in the nation. Brubaker again finished the season with a 23-11 record during the 2011 campaign and a final ranking of eighth in the nation. He was also honored as the David Hildebrandt Rising Star this season due in large part to his success on the court and respect gained from his fellow peers and coaches during his time at PBU.
Coach Brubaker earned his Health and Physical Education degree in 2005 from Philadelphia Biblical University. He will move to Hannibal this summer with his wife Julie and one-year-old son Jordan.
