Brubaker Named Women's Volleyball Coach

Hannibal, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Athletic Department has recently announced the hiring of Julie Brubaker for the position of head women’s volleyball coach.  She will make the move to Hannibal from Philadelphia, PA.

Coach Brubaker will serve as the head women’s volleyball coach and assist her husband Jade with men’s volleyball.  As the head coach of the women’s volleyball team at PBU, Coach Brubaker accumulated five winning seasons and an overall record of 135-81 in six season coached.

In 2005, she helped lead the Lady Crimson Eagles to a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship and a showing at the NCAA III national tournament.  She was also honored as the NEAC Coach of the Year in 2005 for all the success she helped bring to the team’s season.  The Lady Crimson Eagles finished the 2007 season with a school record 30 wins and the 2008 season with 26 victories.  Coach Brubaker took the 2009 season off and returned this past season to finish with 16-16 record.

Coach Brubaker graduated from Clearwater Christian College in 2001 with a degree in Health and Physical Education and a minor in Coaching.  She will move to Hannibal this summer with her husband Jade and one-year-old son Jordan.
