Summer Computer Camps Offered at HLGU

Hannibal, MO – Hannibal-LaGrange University will offer four computer camps for students of various ages this summer.

May 31-June 3 “Computers: The KEY to Your Success!” will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for 2nd grade and up. This camp teaches correct keyboarding skills along with lots of other fun computer concepts and costs $65.

July 5-8 “Caught up in the Net!” will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for 3rd-7th graders. This is a camp about internet safety, full of fun-filled computer activities and costs $65. Must be a good reader and preferably have taken “Computers: The KEY to Your Success!”

May 31-June 3 “Extra! Extra! Web (design) all about it!” teaches the basics of building a web page with a variety of tools. This camp is for 4th-8th graders and will run from 1:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost is $65, and preferably have taken “Caught up in the Net!” previously.

June 6-10 LEGO Robot Building, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. uses the computer to design and explore engineering and science using LEGO Robotics and costs $80. For 4th-8th graders, and must have prior computer knowledge.
