Five Guards Sign with Lady Trojans

HANNIBAL, Mo. – The Hannibal-LaGrange Women’s Basketball program is proud to announce the signing of guards Maddy Cunningham, Jodie Fyfe, Kelsie Smith, Lacey Farwell, and Tierra Longbey.

Cunningham comes to HLGU from Adelaide, Australia where she played for St. John’s Grammar High School.  She has also represented South Australia at the U20 Australian National Championships. 

Fyfe hales from Brisbane, Australia where she played high school basketball at John Paul College.  Fyfe has also represented Queensland at the U20 Australian National Championships.

Smith comes from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Rancho Cucamonga, California.  While in high school, Smith earned the Coach’s Award her freshman year, the Most Improved Award her junior year, and the Best Defensive Player Award her senior year. 

Farwell graduated from Southeastern High School in Augusta, Ill.  While in high school, Farwell was a multi-sport athlete playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. 

Longbey has transferred in from Rend Lake Community College and will have two years of eligibility remaining.  Longbey played high school ball at Paul Robeson High School in Chicago, Ill. 

HLGU is a Division I NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) school and a member of the American Midwest Conference.
