Miaci Named AMC Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Hannibal-LaGrange University forward Fernanda Miaci has been named the AMC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Miaci, a junior from Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil, scored four times and added an assist, last week, helping HLGU to three wins, including two on the road. She opened the week with a goal in the Trojans' 2-1 win over Benedictine University at Springfield, on Monday, and Thursday, she scored two goals, leading Hannibal-LaGrange to a 3-1 win over Harris-Stowe State University, improving the Trojans to 2-0 in the American Midwest Conference.
Saturday, she added another goal and tacked on an assist, helping HLGU to a 2-0 non-conference win over Lindenwood University-Belleville. Miaci is currently tied for second in the AMC with seven goals, and she is tied for the league-lead with two game-winning goals.
HLGU is a Division I NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) school and a member of the American Midwest Conference.
