Women's Basketball Signs Four

HANNIBAL, Mo. - Hannibal LaGrange is excited to announce the addition of four Lady Trojans to its roster.
Hannah Donoghue comes to Hannibal from Auckland, New Zealand. Her parents are Kevin and Ruth Donoghue. During high school, Hannah played soccer, basketball, and touch rugby. She was honored as Player of the Year in women’s soccer, and was awarded the MVP award twice for basketball. During her time at Hannibal, Hannah will pursue her studies in Communications.
The second signee for HLGU is Marissa Hunter. Marissa went to Rockwood Summit High School in Kansas City, Kansas. Her parents are Lisa Moore, Henry Daniels, and Floyd Hunter. In high school, Marissa played volleyball, basketball, and ran track. In high school, Marissa was named First team All-Conference her senior year in basketball. During her first two years of college, Marissa was All-Conference Honorable Mention and fourth-team All-Conference her sophomore year. At HLGU, Marissa will be studying Physical Education.
Ja’Kel Ringo is the third addition to the Lady Trojans. Ja’Kel attended Wentzville Holt high School in St. Louis. Her guardian is Nicole Matthews. While at Hannibal, Ja’Kel will be pursuing her degree in Nursing.
Finally, the Lady Trojans announce the addition of sophomore, Shanna Sharp. Shanna attended Republic High School in Springfield, Missouri. Her guardian is Antionette Wade. During high school, Shanna played volleyball, golf, basketball, and softball. She was awarded MVP in volleyball, All-Conference in golf, All-District and All-Conference in softball, and Most Improved in basketball. Shanna is pursuing a degree in Business Administration while at HLGU.
HLGU is a Division I NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) school and a member of the American Midwest Conference.
