Lady Trojans Go Pink

HANNIBAL, Mo. – The Lady Trojan volleyball squad will get its pink on this weekend in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month as it hosts the third annual Trojan Classic.  The ladies would like to extend the opportunity to support pink to everyone in attendance at the Trojan Classic on October 14-15.

“We will be selling short and long sleeve t-shirts and will have a donation bucket if people want to give,” stated Coach Julie Brubaker.  “The donation money will go towards a candidate that is the grandmother of a volleyball athlete.”

Pink t-shirts will be on sale for 12 dollars and pink long sleeve shirts will sell for 16 dollars.  The shirts will read “Get Your Pink On” with a breast cancer awareness ribbon in the background.

The Lady Trojans will have contests at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Click here for the full Trojan Classic schedule and to receive scores on your phone, text HLG Sports to 21333.
