HANNIBAL, Mo. – With the October 13 win over conference rival Missouri Baptist, the No. 14 Hannibal-LaGrange men’s soccer program clinched its second regular season American Midwest Conference title. The Trojans’ previous regular season title came in 2006.
The Trojans boast an undefeated 6-0 conference record thus far with one remaining AMC contest at Benedictine University at Springfield on October 29. Hannibal-LaGrange has outscored its conference opponents 22-1 this season and posted a signature 2-0 win on September 29 over then ranked No. 15 Columbia College.
With the first place standing, the Trojans have earned a first round bye in the conference tournament and will wait to host an AMC team yet to be named on November 8.
HLGU is a Division I NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) school and a member of the American Midwest Conference.
