Performances will be Thursday-Saturday, December 1-3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Parker Theatre in the Roland Fine Arts Center.
A Christmas Carol is set in London, England and tells to story of stingy old Ebenezer Scrooge who is known as the meanest man in London. He overworks and underpays his humble clerk, Bob Cratchit, whose little son, Tiny Tim, is crippled and may soon die. He also has nothing to do with his nephew, Fred, because of his marriage to a girl Scrooge did not approve of. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his dead partner, Jacob Marley and is warned that if he does not change his ways, he will spend eternity in chains. Scrooge is then haunted by the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future, as he is given one last chance to redeem himself.
