Baumgardner Receives Award From MASFAP

Hannibal, MO – Brice Baumgardner, Director of Financial Aid, at Hannibal-LaGrange University, received the honor of the President’s Award at the fall 2011 Missouri Association of Financial Aid Personnel (MASFAP) conference. The Presidential Award is given to in recognition of outstanding service, tireless dedication, and constant commitment to excellence in the field of Financial Aid. “Brice has distinguished himself in the Financial Aid field both on our campus and on the state level. The President’s Award is presented to individuals who have shown outstanding support for students in the advancement of financial aid programming. This is essential to students in our current economic culture. This recognition also helps to distinguish Hannibal-LaGrange University as an institution focused on quality programming and student support. It is important for Hannibal-LaGrange to be viewed as a leader in our state,” said Dr. Ray Carty, Vice President for Enrollment Management at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Baumgardner just completed his term as Vice President for the Missouri Association of Financial Aid Personnel and has been nominated for the organization’s Presidential position as well.
