Hannibal, Mo. – Hannibal-LaGrange University along with Hannibal Regional Healthcare System and Missouri Area Health Education Centers will be sponsoring a M*A*S*H Camp this summer. M*A*S*H camp will be July 19-20, from 8am-4pm at Hannibal-LaGrange University (July 19th) and Hannibal Regional Hospital (July 20th).This unique, two-day summer camp is intended for students entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade (fall 2012) who have an interest in exploring health care careers. If your child is interested in seeing all the career opportunities in a hospital first hand, learning first aid and how to “scrub in”, would enjoy climbing in the chopper with emergency medical personnel and/or dissecting organs to find out how they work…. This summer camp is for them!
Registration requires a $40 fee for meals, activities, and t-shirt. Financial aid is available for families with severe hardships. A limited number of scholarships are available to families for whom the registration fee is a considerable hardship. To request a scholarship, please include a written request from parent explaining the hardship situation and requesting assistance from the planning committee. You will be notified at a later date if the scholarship is granted.
