Baumgardner Assumes Role as President of Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel

Hannibal-LaGrange University’s Director of Financial Aid, Brice Baumgardner, was recently inaugurated as the Missouri Association of Financial Aid Personnel president. As president, Baumgardner is an officer of the organization and will be responsible for several duties including: proposing a fiscal year operating budget for approval by the Executive Board, presiding at meetings of the Association and the Executive Board, serve as ex-officio member of all committees, and appoint any ad hoc committees deemed necessary. In addition, Brice will represent the association at the NASFAA annual meeting along with the Executive Council of MASFAA.
When asked about his new position, Baumgardner stated, “It is an honor to be elected to the position of president. I look forward to serving the association in the next year. We have much to do, and with the excellent group of board members that we have, we will accomplish much.”
After his term as president Baumgardner will serve in an advisory role as the past-president on the MASFAP board.
