Explore HLGU Day to be held at Lenexa Baptist Church

Hannibal, MO- Hannibal-LaGrange University, a four year, Baptist-based, Christian university, will be hosting an “Explore HLGU Day” on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. This free event, geared toward high school juniors and seniors and their parents, will be held at the Lenexa Baptist Church, 15320 W. 87th Street Parkway, Lenexa, Kansas. Those attending will have a chance to visit with various HLGU departments including, Admissions, Financial Aid, Christian Studies, and Student Activities, along with the opportunity to speak with current HLGU students. In addition to information booths, the day will include lunch and performances by two of HLGU's traveling ministry groups: The New Edition, a traveling repertory troupe specializing in Christian theatre, and Chamber Choir, an a cappella music ministry group.
Current juniors and seniors are asked to register for the day by February 15, 2013. Those doing so will be entered into a drawing to win a new iPad Mini. Drawing will take place at the end of the "Explore HLGU Day" events. Winner must be present to win and must be a current junior or senior in school status.
"This is a great opportunity to find out more about Hannibal-LaGrange University, how to pay for college, and why choosing a Christian education is so important," stated Dr. Ray Carty, HLGU vice president for enrollment management.
