Hannibal-LaGrange University’s theatre department has announced its annual children’s show will be the production of The Three Little Pigs. Two showings of this special production will take place. The first showing will be on Thursday, February 7 at 9:30 a.m. The second showing will take place on Friday, February 8 at 7:00 p.m. Both shows will take place in the Parker Theatre of the Roland Fine Arts Center. The performances will be especially enjoyed by children ages kindergarten thru 3rd grade. These productions are open to the public.
In this version the classic story is narrated by another familiar fairy tale face, Goldilocks! Having just returned from her adventure with the three bears, Goldilocks encounters a few pigs trying to avoid a hungry wolf by building themselves a house, but what sort of house… will it be strong enough to keep out the wolf?
This fun and interactive production allows children to become part of the action and teaches them that, in the end, it is hard work that truly pays off.
Tickets are $1.00 per person.
