HLGU baseball players became coaches for a day as sixty students, ranging from 1st through 8th grades, came to campus for the annual Winter Warm-Up baseball camp held February 2nd.
"I was very pleased with our 2013 Winter Warm Up Baseball Camp. I think it was a productive day for our campers and we look forward to doing it again in 2014," said Head Baseball Coach Clay Biggs.
Activities for the camp were held in the Mabee Sports Complex and consisted of baseball drills and skills led by the Trojan players themselves.
"The camp was an excellent opportunity for the team to interact with kids of the community," said senior catcher and captain Ian Sikes. "I enjoyed seeing kids of all ages having fun and getting better. Overall, I believe the experience was a positive one for all involved."
