by Brittany Adkins, HLGU Student

Hannibal-LaGrange University senior Brittany Adkins is hosting a yard sale that will benefit Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch on Saturday, April 13.

Sale for Shiloh will take place at Calvary Baptist Church at 4605 W Ely Road in Hannibal, Missouri at 8 am.

Twenty-two year old Adkins spent the summer of 2012 as Shiloh's intern. Equipped and ready to apply HLGU's motto "Knowledge for Service", she is eager to give back to the organization.

"I firmly believe in caring for the abused and neglected children of our nation, and Shiloh stands as a shining city on a hill for those same children," says Adkins. "It is my hope that awareness will lead to continued support for Shiloh's mission."

Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch has been taking care of abused and neglected children since 1977 when it was first established.

If you would like to contribute to the Sale for Shiloh, donations can be dropped off at Hannibal LaGrange University to the Student Development Office on the first floor of the Burt Administration Building. Clothing, shoes, appliances, and electronics are all welcomed items.
