Hannibal-LaGrange University is happy to announce singer Lynda Randle as the keynote speaker for the 72nd annual Booster Banquet to be held on Friday, November 22nd. This event is sponsored by HNB.
Lynda was born and raised in Washington, D.C. Growing up a part of the D.C. inner-city culture, Lynda experienced the pain and anguish that can rarely be imagined by the majority of Christian-America. Since giving her life to the Lord Jesus Christ, He has used the scars of her youth to bring a distinct depth and richness to her ministry.
Lynda's distinct alto voice has created opportunities for her to minister across the United States and around the world. She has been a favorite on the Gaither Homecoming series and videos. Her two most requested songs are "God on the Mountain" and "I'm Free." In 2005, she won a Dove Award for her album, "A Tribute to Mahalia Jackson."
The doors will open at 6:00 pm and the event will begin at 7:00 pm. Tickets will be available for purchase starting Tuesday, September 3rd. Ticket prices are $50 for general admission and $150 for executive admission. This special ticket includes reserved parking, admission to a private reception with Lynda Randle starting at 5:30 pm, and a special reserved seat at the banquet. Attendees to the private reception will be able to meet Lynda and have a photo taken with her. For $1000 you can sponsor a table which includes eight executive tickets at a special price.
