Hannibal-LaGrange University invites the public to participate in its second annual Scarlet and Blue Scramble. This 1.5 mile Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 9 am and will wind through HLGU's beautiful campus.
The cost to participate in the Scarlet & Blue Scramble is just $5.00. Money raised from this event will go to help the HLGU Cross Country and Track teams offset travel and equipment purchases needed to continue their high level of performance. Scarlet & Blue Scramble t-shirts will be given to the first registrants as long as supplies last. Check-in starts at 8:30 am at the Roland Fine Arts Center. Participants are encouraged to register prior to the event but event-day registration will also be available at 8:30 am.
"Many of HLGU's Cross Country and Track team members will be lining the course and cheering people on," said Coach Tracy Jex. "The Cross Country team will have competed on the same course the day before." The team welcomes all participants and friends to cheer them on to victory.
Registration forms are available at the HLGU information desk on the second floor of the Burt Administration Building. For more information, contact Coach Tracy Jex at firstname.lastname@example.org or 573.629.3221.
