Hannibal-LaGrange University will be cohosting No Other Name, along with WGCA in concert on March 19 at 7 pm as part of the school's annual Carroll Missions week.
Rarely does an up-and-coming artist impress industry and fans so readily as to be recognized with a New Artist of the Year nomination before releasing a single project. Such is the legacy of Nashville-based vocal group No Other Name. The 2011 and 2013 Dove Award nominated act is impacting audiences not only with its music but also its heart for sharing the gospel.
The group is comprised of three members, Sam and Laura Allan, a brother and sister duo along with their friend Chad Smith. With their energy to share the gospel, No Other Name has a way of connecting with their fans not only through their music but also their faith.
The concert is open to the community. Tickets are $5 at the door. HLGU students get in free with a student ID.
No Other Name will also be leading worship during the Carroll Missions week chapels on March 19 and 20 at 10 am. The chapel speaker will be John Edie of Alongside Ministries and Second Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. HLGU chapels are free and open to the community.
