Adult Degree Completion Program to Start at Advanced Technology Center in Mexico, MO

HLGU ADVANCE Adult Degree Completion Program has announced there will be an informational meeting regarding majors to be offered in the fall of 2014 on Tuesday, March 11, at 6 pm in room 167 of the Advanced Technology Center in Mexico, MO.
Those attending the informational meeting are encouraged to bring their college transcripts in order to receive a free written degree plan. Majors being offered for the fall 2014 semester are criminal justice, organizational management, and social work.
HLGU's ADVANCE Program classes meet for four hours, one night per week, one class at a time over a five week period. Students stay with the same group of adult learners (cohort) throughout the remainder of the degree program. "With an associate's degree (AS, AA, or AAS) or its equivalent, from an accredited institution, students may be able to complete a bachelor's degree in as little as 18 months," stated Marc Hurt, HLGU ADVANCE Program Director.
