Hannibal-LaGrange University's ministry team, Praise Song, will be holding a fundraiser concert on Friday, March 21, at 7 pm. This special concert will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, in Hannibal, MO. Special guest artists include HLGU students Josh Hettich & Michaela McClendon, and Zach Johnston from Hillsboro, MO.
A freewill donation will be taken the night of the concert. All donations will be used for the upcoming summer mission trip to Alaska.
Merle Harmon, HLGU Praise Song Director, and HLGU students will be assisting an already established church planter in the Eagle River, Alaska area. In addition to working on various church grounds, leading worship, and interacting with the youth in the neighborhood, the team will also be doing door to door evangelism. The team has also been told they might assist a church with a summer vacation Bible school program as well.
"I'm really looking forward to this trip," stated Harmon. "We have a great group of students and adults that I know will have a positive impact on the Eagle River area and enjoy spreading the Gospel to the people of the community.
