Hannibal-LaGrange University is currently gathering information from prospective students for their new Master of Arts in Leadership degree. This new, completely online degree will have two tracks: Christian Ministry and Organizational Management.

"At this time we are asking those that are interested in earning their master's degree in leadership to contact our online learning department," stated Dr. Raymond Carty, HLGU Vice President of Enrollment. Prospective students are asked to contact Kayla McBride, HLGU Online Student Facilitator at KMcBride@hlg.edu or by phone at 573.629.3050.

One unique aspect of HLGU's Master of Arts in Leadership degree is the fact that it can be completed in just one year. "We have designed both the Christian Ministry and the Organizational Management tracks to be a 50 week format," stated Dr. Jill Arnold, HLGU Director of Online Learning. "Being able to complete a master's program in just 12 months is something no one else in the area is doing." HLGU's master's program will be held in a cohort format and will be a total of 30 credit hours.

HLGU's Master of Leadership in Organizational Management track is geared toward anyone desiring to further their education and their career in the area of leadership. "This is a very versatile degree," stated Carty. "It is perfect for those that already have a degree in business but also for those who have found themselves in a leadership role that may not have a business degree."

HLGU's Master of Leadership in Christian Ministry has been designed to meet the growing need of ministry leaders seeking specialized training in the area of Christian discipleship. Courses provide students with an excellent understanding of biblical leadership principles. This program is well-suited for associate pastors, discipleship pastors, small group pastors, and Christian education pastors.

Fall 2014 classes for Hannibal-LaGrange University begin on August 26.
