HLGU to Host Summer Science Camp

Hannibal-LaGrange University will be once again hosting a summer science camp for elementary students who are currently in grades 2-5.
The camp will be held June 16-20, from 9 to 11:45 am, or from 1:15 to 4 pm, for students in second and third grade. Activities and experiments will teach participants about bubbles, heat and light, rocks and minerals, structural design, and pillbugs.
Students in fourth and fifth grade can attend the camp June 23-27 during morning or afternoon sessions held from 9 to 11:45 am, or from 1:15 to 4 pm. Activities and experiments will include lessons about catapults, predators and prey, acids and bases, amusement park science, and rockets.
This year's camp will be directed by Dr. Jenni Haner, HLGU adjunct professor, and will meet in Hannibal LaGrange Science Building C, located beside the Partee Center.
Enrollment costs $85 per student and is limited to the first 18 students per session. Please print and complete the enrollment form and the waiver of liability form. Mail them, along with a check made out to Hannibal-LaGrange University to Jenni Haner, 508 Country Club Drive, Hannibal, MO, 63401.
