HLGU ADVANCE Program Orientations

Hannibal-LaGrange University's ADVANCE Program has announced August cohort orientation dates and is offering a free application voucher, a $25 value. The voucher expires August 20 and can be downloaded online at hlg.edu/advance.
In Hannibal, orientations will be held at 6 pm in room 215 of the Burt Administration Building at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Social work will be on Thursday, August 21, criminal justice on Monday, August 25, and organizational management on Tuesday, August 26.
Poplar Bluff orientation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, at 6 pm in room A311 on the TRC Poplar Bluff campus. Sikeston orientations will be held Thursday, August 28, at 5:30 in the TRC Center in Sikeston. Both evenings will include orientation for all three majors, organizational management, criminal justice, and social work.
In Keokuk orientations will be held at 6 pm in Emeritus Hall on the Southeastern Community College campus. Criminal justice will be on Monday, August 18 in room 406, and organizational management on Thursday, August 21 in room 416.
The HLGU ADVANCE Program allows working adults to attend class one night a week and one subject at a time over a five-week period. With an associate's degree or its equivalent, applicants have the opportunity to complete their degree in as little as 18 months. Students stay with the same group of adult learners, their cohort, throughout their degree program.
