Hannibal-LaGrange University Online will be holding an open house for the new Master of Arts in Leadership degree on Thursday, July 10, from 4-6 pm in the Roland Library. This open house will be a great opportunity to ask questions and speak with the directors of the program.
This program, fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the Missouri Department of Higher Education, can be completed entirely online in just one year. Students will be able to choose between two tracks, Organizational Management and Christian Ministry. "We are so excited because its going to let our students all over the world, all over the state, and in many different states, enjoy getting a master of leadership degree," stated Dr. Jill Arnold, Director of Graduate and Online Programs.
HLGU's Master of Leadership in Organizational Management track is geared toward anyone desiring to further their education and their career in the area of leadership. "This is a very versatile degree," stated Dr. Ray Carty, Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness. "It is perfect for those that already have a degree in business but also for those who have found themselves in a leadership role that may not have a business degree."
HLGU's Master of Leadership in Christian Ministry has been designed to meet the growing need of ministry leaders seeking specialized training in the area of Christian discipleship. Courses provide students with an excellent understanding of biblical leadership principles while also teaching about the business aspects of running a church and keeping the doors open. This program is well-suited for associate pastors, discipleship pastors, small group pastors, and Christian education pastors.
Fall classes begin on August 26 and financial aid is available to students. Additionally, all students in the first cohort will receive a free iPad mini. For more information on the program, please contact Dr. Arnold, Director of Graduate and Online Programs at 573-629-3103, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
