HLG'S AL SARNO RECEIVES BOARD CERTIFICATION IN PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING

Hannibal, MO - Al Sarno, instructor of human services at Hannibal-LaGrange College, has been awarded the prestigious Board Certified in Professional Counseling, BCPC, designated by the American Board of Professional Counselors. The ABPC, established by the American Psychotherapy Association (APA), is the nation's leading organization to promote and support the profession of counseling.
The ABPC works to protect the right of counselors to practice, increases parity for their profession, and provides the recognition and validation that they deserve. ABPC also gives counselors useful resources, low- or no-cost continuing education opportunities, and a forum to network with fellow counseling professionals.
