Hannibal, MO - A member of the Hannibal-LaGrange College Cross-Country team was honored as athlete of the week in the American Midwest Conference.

Kevin Campbell, an HLG sophomore secondary education-mathematics major from Troy, MO, was named AMC Athlete of the Week for September 9-15. Campbell ran a 16:29 (5K) and placed 29/97 runners at the Miner Invite in Rolla, MO, the weekend of September 7-9. Campbell set a new personal best time by 31 seconds.

“Kevin has been doing a great job on pushing himself to get better each week,” said HLG Head Coach Josh Jones. “For the last two weeks he has done a personal best.  It has been great to see his hard work paying off.”
