Hannibal, MO-The Hannibal-LaGrange College softball team recently signed Jessica Fry of Hannibal, MO to play catcher for the 2006-2007 season. Fry will be a December '06 graduate of Hannibal High School in Hannibal, MO where she lettered for three years in softball and track. Fry received All-Conference Softball honors in 2005. She was also a member of the ASA (Amateur Softball Association) Hannibal Cyclones for five years.

HLG Head Softball Coach Dan Hurst says, “We are very pleased to have Jessica join our program. She is a talented player that can help us fill some needs we have. I have watched her play for several years and she has shown that she is ready to take her game to the next level. Defensively she works well behind the plate and she should be able to produce at bat with some power.”

Fry intends to major in criminal justice at HLG.

Fry is the daughter of Bob Fry and Salinda Voepel.

HLG is a Division I NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) school and a member of the America Midwest Conference.
