Hannibal, MO- Hannibal-LaGrange College was named one of America's Best Christian Colleges and Best College Scholarships for the fourth consecutive year by the Institutional Research & Evaluation, Inc. HLG is one of only three higher education institutions in Missouri named as one of America's Best Christian Colleges, and it is the only one named to both America's Best Christian Colleges and Best College Scholarships. Over 1,400 colleges and universities nationwide were analyzed in consideration for these honors.

HLG was named America's Best Christian College on the basis of documented environment of Christian influence, grade point average of incoming freshmen as well as the ACT/SAT scores of incoming freshmen. This is the fourth year in a row that the Hannibal-LaGrange College has received this honor and scored well above the national average.

HLG was named to America's Best College Scholarships on the basis of offering scholarships that are available to incoming full-time freshmen, which are merit based only, not repayable in money or by performance. Other criteria for this award include offering a merit scholarship that is equal to at least 50% of annual cost of attendance, not subject to residency requirement, offered indiscriminately to US citizens and administered through non-governmental monies.
