Hannibal, MO-Hannibal-LaGrange College would like to invite all basketball fans to join them as they host the Coaches vs. Cancer Night at the Mabee Sports Complex on Saturday, February 10, 2007. The men's and women's basketball teams at HLG and the American Midwest Conference (AMC) have teamed up with the American Cancer Society to help raise awareness and money to fight cancer.

The Trojan women's and men's basketball teams will host University of Illinois-Springfield beginning with the Lady Trojans game at 2:00 p.m., followed by the Trojan men's game at 4:00 p.m. The money raised will be pooled together with other AMC member teams and given as a donation to the American Cancer Society.

The Coaches vs. Cancer program seeks to raise awareness to the cancer problem and, in turn, reduces risk through education programs. The money is used to fund research, advocacy, education, and patient services programs. Since its inception, the Coaches vs. Cancer program has raised more than $16 million.
