HLG JAZZ CHOIR PERFORMS CLINIC/CONCERT

Hannibal, MO-- The Hannibal-LaGrange College Jazz Choir will be performing a vocal jazz clinic/concert for two area high school vocal music departments on Thursday, March 29.  The 20 voice jazz choir will discuss, demonstrate, and perform the genre of vocal jazz at 9:00 a.m. at Paris High School in Paris, MO, and again at 1:15 p.m. at Monroe City High School in Monroe City, MO.

Songs to be sung are "Tuxedo Junction", "Voice Dance I", "Embraceable You", "Jada Jazz!", and "Peter Gunn".  A special performance by Matt Assel, senior music education major, on jazz piano will also be part of the program.
