Hannibal, MO-On Tuesday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m., Hannibal-LaGrange College music student Garrett Castor will present his senior recital in Parker Theatre in the Roland Fine Arts Center.  Castor is performing both literature and styles that are a first for an HLG recital. “Non Siate” is from the opera Cosi Fan Tutte by Mozart.  He is also doing some pieces written for a lute on the guitar, recently popularized by popular singer Sting of the Police.  Castor will perform a couple of Andrew Lloyd Webber pieces from  Evita and Joseph.  He will be also singing a set of songs called “The Gambler Songs” written by John Jacob Niles in the style of the Appalachian folk music.

Castor is a senior Church music and voice major from St. Louis, MO, graduating in May. 

The recital will be open to the public at no charge with a reception to follow in the lobby of the Roland Fine Arts Center.
