|Hannibal, MO—Hannibal-LaGrange College Trojan golfer Aaron Logan took home a third place medal in the William Jewell College Golf Invitational on Friday, April 13. Logan, a freshman accounting major from Oakland, Ontario, competed against a field of 75 golfers during the two-day event held at Claycrest Golf Club in Liberty, MO.
The Trojan men's golf team joined fourteen other college teams as they teed off in 36-degree weather, battling wind, rain and snow. Logan shot 74 in the first round and 77 in the second round of the 36-hole competition.
“Aaron played two solid rounds in very difficult conditions,” said Dr. Tom Hufty, vice-president for collegiate affairs and athletic department administrator. “His ability to focus through inclement weather against a strong field of competition was very admirable.”
